Qualifications:
Must know the tool & die industry well Must be comfortable with being responsible for making or improving different types of tools to enable the production processes within the facility to be as efficient as possible Must be good with people and comfortable leading them Implement and maintain a production planning system Skills:
Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory experience Technical understanding Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing Experience of managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for manufacturing Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain Understanding of IATF16949 A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 6am-2:
30pm, Monday through Friday.
In this position, you'd be responsible for all aspects of in house tool manufacturing, maintenance, development and testing activities to ensure the company objectives are met.
You must lead and coordinate all resources in the tool room, and implement and maintain a production planning system.
