This role will over see all Plant operations and ensure customer projects are being completed within time frame of project expectations and within budget.
MUST HAVE SEATING EXPERIENCE.

Experience:
$90,000 -$115,000 plus yearly bonus Responsibilities o The Plant Manager is responsible for independently managing the plant manufacturing operations in line with the strategic and annual profit plans o Directs all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Safety, Quality, Logistics, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Employee Relations o Leads the Plant Management team and direct and manage plant operations for production, technical, engineering, launch, quality, supply chain, IT and EHS o Conducts management reviews of the quality and EM system o Responsible for customer satisfaction o Responsible for the safety of employees, visitors and contractors within the site o Ensures document and data control at the plant level o Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner o Manage policy deployment in areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and engagement, visual controls and plant performance measures o Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development o Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships o Prepare the Plant Profit Plan with the assistance of the plant staff and submits the Plant Profit Plan to Vice President of Operations and CFO for review o Manage the operations within the plant with support from a cross functional staff of departmental managers o Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operation to ensure the most effective return on assets and obtainment of production schedules and overall business objectives o Create profit plan including budgets, personnel and investment plans o Control deviations from the planned actual values and introducing corrective measures o Monitor daily & monthly company directed KPI's and report out to Regional Director in monthly MOR o Provide root cause analysis of production and quality issues and make appropriate decisions based on risk analysis o Assure that all corporate guidelines and procedures are adhered to o Communicate regularly with direct reports and management and supervise their performance in all functions including performance evaluations o Manage plant launch team to achieve corporate launch objectives o Maintain high level of customer, community and public relations in keeping with the corporate image o Identify the needs for capital acquisition, gather information and obtain appropriate approvals Qualifications Minimum 7 years experience with plant/department responsibilities 7 years experience automotive manufacturing, plastic injection molding or similar plant environment, Experience within a JIT environment Strong team building, decision making, communication and people management skills Familiarity with industry standard equipment and corresponding technical expertise Extensive experience working/communicating with customers and suppliers #ARMJOBS.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
