This position will involve assisting in contract management, reviewing contract documents, and requesting associated paperwork.
You will also be assisting the estimating department in determining their supply needs, placing and tracking orders, arranging freight, and monitoring inventory levels.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed, and an understanding of supply chain procedures.
Responsibilities Process supply requests Place orders, follow up on delays, and maintain strong working relationships with vendors Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering an appropriate amount of product before it is at critical levels Evaluate offers from multiple vendors, determining the best place to order based on price and quality, conducting research as necessary to find an appropriate supplier Manage vendor contracts Evaluate specific needs for each project and request appropriate documentation Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in a similar position desired Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of the supply chain and common issues surrounding it, desired The ability to multitask and shift priorities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
