1K a year The Infusion Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the home infusion entity, while acting as a role model of professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
This Infusion Operations Supervisor ensures HomeTown Infusion operations are profitable, provides oversight for financial management and reimbursement activities, as well as the development, oversight and accountability of the billing team and drivers.
The Infusion Operations Supervisor manages, directs and ensures the infusion service line operates efficiently and within standards established by HomeTown Infusion policies and procedures, corporate compliance program and other established rules and regulations governing the healthcare industry.
The Infusion Operations Supervisor works with all teammates to ensure high levels of customer service is provided to all patients/clients resulting in the highest quality of care.
The Infusion Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Infusion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implements and enforces HomeTown policies and procedures in the infusion pharmacy.
Ensures pharmacy operations meet legal and ethical standards Sort and disperses mail and orders supplies as needed.
Conducts activities related to billing claims, insurance verification, invoice distribution, collections of payments, financial postings and patient billing inquiries.
Supervises billing/reimbursement teammates and delivery drivers Collaborates with Home Office to ensure payer source contracts are completed accurately and within established time frames.
Conducts regular staff meetings Assess all department schedules and payroll numbers for appropriate staffing.
Track pharmacy financials for payroll, expense, A/R, and gross margin performance.
Make adjustments as required.
Responsible to make sure Home Office directives are carried out including compilation/submission/distribution of accounting packets, new hire information, med error tracking, FWA compliance etc.
Assist with the hiring and firing process in collaboration with other managers and directors.
Oversight of employee disciplinary action plans.
Ensures general pharmacy, office and building maintenance as well as maintains a clean environment and delivery vehicle operations Maintains documentation and files appropriately in an organized format.
Assesses employee training requirements and provides training resources as needed.
Oversight of annual evaluation process for direct reports.
Coordinates marketing and sales activities including participation in promotional events if requested.
Participates on assigned committees.
Prepares reports as assigned including but limited to month end accounting reports, quality assurance metrics, etc.
Promotes an atmosphere of excellence, professionalism and job satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferred or Associates Degree with minimum 5 years related experience 3-4 years management experience Experience in medical billing, collections and A/R management.
Knowledge in third party payors policies and the reimbursement process.
Ability to provide leadership and direction to a team.
Ability to work independently, multi-task and motivate others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong customer service acumen.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle stress in a professional manner.
Travel flexibility/availability Valid driver's license.
