McKesson's Business Performance Services division has an opening for an Assistant Client Manager based in our Clinton Township office.
Position Description
The Assistant Client Manager will support our Senior Client Managers by providing physician billing reports, data analysis and customer service.
The Assistant Client Manager will support client managers and interact with clients regarding report requests, patient related questions and various other requests. Report requests may include daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as well as monitoring and analysis.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Works with the clients through a more Senior Client Manager. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Position will be expected to handle increasing amounts of client contact beginning with requests for data and patient account lookup and growing into building customer relationships, problem solving customer related issues, customer site visits that will include presentations and question and answer sessions.

Critical Skills
This position is highly analytical and requires strong data analysis and reporting skills. Advanced Excel skills are required and include:
Pivot Tables creation and manipulation
Vlookups
Nested Formulas
Goal Seek
Named Ranges
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal are required.
Ttime management , resource management and the ability to shift focus quickly.
Strong analytic skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets is critical.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong relationship skills are needed to work with both internal and external customers.
Candidates should be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of healthcare practice management, Physician Billing, Coding and Revenue Cycle experience is highly preferred. Radiology billing experience is preferred.
Education
BS degree or equivalent experience in business analysis is required. A two or four-year degree with a focus on Accounting or Finance preferred.
