Partridge Creek Senior Living is a 200 bed continuing care retirement community. This newly constructed facility offers state of the art amenities in a resident based care atmosphere.
The Chef Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, implementing production processes, menu planning, catering, managing food and labor costs and overall responsibility for HACCP. This role reports to the General Manager and will oversee menu development for all dining areas.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
training/mentoring for the cooks, line servers, and kitchen staff.
supervising and supporting production functions of kitchen employees
motivate employees to continually improve performance
follow and direct HACCP - Food Safety - Physical Safety Programs, and manage cost controls
Bring innovation and creativity to culinary offerings in catering areas
This role is a hands-on leader in the kitchen and will have food production responsibilities. Experience in food/labor cost and health care dining is preferred. This role requires an elevated energy level, motivating perspective and an excellent service committment for clients/residents.

Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Executive Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to General Manager.
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
